Not What I Was Going For ...
This card was supposed to be for todays Featured Stamper Challenge at Splitcoast Stampers; but this thing failed on a monumental scale so I won't be posting it. I don't want to insult the FS. LOL
I know it could probably use some pearls and a ribbon, but the ribbon was nixed because I could not find any pink that went with the card stock; and since the flowers were already a different color I thought three different shades of pink were pushing it.
I thought about adding a few of my much loved Kaisercraft pearls to liven it up, but decided I didn't want to waste them. I had a couple pearl stick pins coming from behind the flowers, but without a bow I thought it looked strange.
Maybe tomorrow I can take another try at this card. But for now this is it. It really needs help and any input is appreciated. :)
EDIT TO ADD:
I put two pearls on this card and now I'm happy with it. Sometimes I think I need to make a card, walk away from it for a day, then come back to it and look at it again.

ReplyDeleteYour card is lovely.
I love all the embossing and the fact that there is just one centre focal point.
Great frame, sentiment and flowers.
It is gorgeous just as it is.
Love Jules xx
I can't see anything wrong with this at all hun, except maybe it didn't work out as you had it in your head. Nonetheless, it is a super gorgeous card and I love it's classic elegance. Hugs, Sxx
