CAS(e) This Sketch: 270 Retro
This week at CAS(e) this Sketch the Design Team decided to go retro and pulled a very nice sketch from their archives.
I hope my interpretation holds up to the design intent.
This was a fun card to make. This is WPlus9's Sending Sunshine stamp and coordinating die set, which I've have for a few years, but have never used.
Excluding the base, all the card stock used is from the scrap bin. The Stampin' Up glitter paper was color blended with Copic markers Y06, YR16 and RV09.
UPDATED: I found a much better room to take pictures so have updated the photo. Now the colors are very true and it doesn't look like the whole base has been colored.
Thank you for stopping by.

Glittering Christmas
This card is for this weeks CAS(e) This Sketch. It was also intended for the LIM challenge "More Than One Tree" from last week but I missed the deadline yesterday.
The trees and base edge are cut from SU!'s new white glitter (or maybe they call it Dazzeling Diamonds) paper. The snowflake "sequins" and die are from Simon Says Stamp (Winter Trees is the name of the die) and the gorgeous deep blue card stock is Bazzill Artic. This is my first ever shaker-card and I'm so pleased with how it turned out. The entire card sparkles and glimmers even when just sitting on the table.
It's raining out today so the natural light, which is best for taking pictures of glittering cards, is too low to get a decent picture. Once the sky clears up I will attempt another picture and add it later.
Not sure this is any better, but the colors seem to be truer.
Thank you for dropping by.
