What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday ~ #87
Welcome to my post of What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday!! This is where crafters the world over bravely post pictures of their workdesk so others may come around a take a peek. If you want to know more about WOYWW and join in the fun, pop on over to Julie's Stamping Ground and join in!!
Well today was an unscheduled day off here in Dallas. We were hit with a ice storm and though it is nothing like what Chicago and the east coast are going through, it was enough to bring Dallas to a stand still. The streets are still iced over so I will be working from home again tomorrow. Thank goodness for technology.
Since I was able to work at my leisure today I managed to get in some crafting projects. The first was my Moms birthday card; I'll post it tomorrow. The other thing I managed to get started today was my ribbon chaos. I actually made some headway in getting it sorted. I have a jar of 1 to 2 yards of ribbon wrapped around clothes pins; a drawer of Michael's $1 ribbon neatly put away though not completely organized by color. And I even managed to place all my SU! ribbons into one drawer. I still have a long way to go but every little dent helps.
One day I'm going to post a pretty picture like other crafters do. You know the kind picture where everything is in perfect order; the project is centered and all the tools and embellishments sitting neatly by the side. One day ..... but obviously not today. LOL

I would rather have a creative desk than a neat one..mine is more neat than creative. 89
ReplyDeleteWonderful desk, everything looks so colour co-ordinated. Love those Mikes flowers, I got a few packs on sale before Christmas. Love the ribbon storage too. I worked from home Tuesday due to car trouble (now fixed) and again today due to snow! Technology is very useful.

WOW look at all the fun stuff on you desk! I think your ribbon looks really organized now. I am going to have to get me some old fashioned pens again. Thanks for sharing.

such lovely storage and an active space on your desk. I am one of those Chicago people and I got absolutely nothing but picture taking done. I've never seen drifts like this. My car is going to take hours to free but I almost prefer snow to ice. It's not nearly as dangerous.
ReplyDeleteAre we sisters? I have a real problem with ribbon control and I am feeling incredibly at home in front of your desk..and my ambition is to turn into one of those house perfect celebrity scrappers/stampers/bloggers! Love the card you've got in progress - I don't use flowers much because I scared - these look so lovely.
ReplyDeletewow thats a lot of ribbons I am just sorting my odds on ribbons on the clothes pegs ~ thanks for sharing Nicky 12
ReplyDeleteOh you mean those neat and tidy pics...lol Your workspace looks well loved and creative.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the peek and sharing. Hugs, Marjo lucky #1.
Your mother's card is lovely - like the colours a lot. Your desk is great for snooping round - it wouldn't be so interesting if it was perfect, in fact it is perfect as it is. Love your ribbon collection. Elizabeth x #96
ReplyDeleteLove the ribbon storage! (once upon a time, mine was fairly organized...it would seem that it is getting messed up again by someone too lazy to wrap ribbon as of late!) Star 125
