Where has all the mojo gone ........
This card is for this weeks Less Is More challenge which is a sketch challenge. The Divas placed rules which were: must be rectangle, band must stay in position and it had to be landscape. I managed to get those correct, however I didn't place the sentiment in the same spot as the sketch indicated. It's automatic for me; I hate seeing a sentiment dumped into a large open white space. I have to admit, if I'm going to mess up a sketch, it's always the sentiment placement. :( I also messed this up by trying to add shading to the trees with an old olive marker. I should have used chalk, it would have been more subtle.
That said, I'm just pleased to be back in my craft room. I'm struggling like crazy to create things and since last Friday only two projects have survived the trash bin (this being the second one). It's like my mojo decided it was taking a hike since I wasn't using it. Now I need it back and it's no where to be found. LOL I've missed 7 weeks of crafting and challenges (here and at SCS) so if my limited missing mojo ever returns, I might back track and give some of the missed challenges a go.
Thanks for stopping in.

Heart Box
My it feels good to get back into my craftroom and make something. I have not made a project since December 11th. If I went into my craft room at all over the last 7 weeks, it was to stand there and stare at the complete chaos that making Christmas cards had produced. LOL
So I guess if one is going to head back into ones craft room, then why not tackle something new and big; my first ever 3D project.
After 15 years of having no one in my area to craft with, I have met a fabulous lady named Linda Keal who is not only fun and full of energy, she is super creative and loves to share. Another of Linda's fabulous traits is that she is not afraid to take on new projects or try new techniques. So this week when the Splitcoast news letter had a tutorial for a heart box made with Spellbinder dies, Linda and I decided to give it a try using the SU! dies. The SU! die is bigger than the SB so we had to make adjustments along the way, but the box above is the final result. I used only SU products on this box which is super rare for me.
I could not have made this box without Linda's help, so thank you friend, I really enjoyed spending the time with you. :)
I'll be heading back into the craft room to make another box and this time I'll take some additional pictures and jot down measurement since it is different from the SCS tutorial. I'll edit this post once I get everything done.

Blogspot Issues
I've been MIA for many weeks now but am trying to get back into the swing of card making. The holidays, a bad cold, and work .... mostly work .... have kept me very busy or too tired to do much of anything.
This last week I have tried several times to visit blogs and leave comments, but I can't get past the first screen. If I'm lucky enough to get into an actual post, thats as far as I can get. I can't even scroll down to read the whole post. And if a blog has one of those huge headers that then has a huge list of followers below, thats all I can see. :(
Is anyone else having issues or heard of others having these issues? One message I received this morning was I didn't have access to a site that I follow, and she follows me.
Oh and the real fun is I can only get to my dashboard. I can't access my own blog. So I guess this post is pointless since I won't be able to read any replies. UGH!!!!
Guess I need to see if Blogspot has some kind of help board.
EDIT: Woohoo!! I was able to get onto and post a comment at Joan Ervins blog. I'm going to keep trying others.
